Walls and display
Build one big screen from many boards, extend it the easy way, and choose how it shows your notes.
Building a wall
Boards that touch, face the same way and share a channel merge into one big screen, up to 8 by 8 blocks per section. A new board placed next to an existing one joins its channel automatically.
To extend a wall, hold a board and aim near the edge of a board that’s already up. An outline shows exactly where the new board will go, directly on that side. Right-click to place it. Aiming at the middle of a board opens it as usual, and sneaking places a board the normal way.
If a wall isn’t a rectangle, the notes show on its largest rectangular part, and the rest is plain screen. The frame runs around the outside of the whole wall.
What the wall shows
The wall shows every note in full: to-do items with tick boxes, item lists with an icon and a count such as 40/64,
and the text of written notes. Pinned notes come first, marked with a gold star, and each title takes the note’s
colour. Walls six or more blocks wide split into columns, and anything that doesn’t fit shows as “+N more”.
Display options
Open a board and press Display… to choose how the whole wall shows its notes:
- Text size: Small fits more notes, Large reads from further away.
- Finished lines: hide ticked to-dos and fully collected items, so the wall only shows what’s left. Each title still
shows the full progress, such as
7/10. - Notes: show all notes, or pinned notes only, for an announcements wall.
The settings apply to the whole wall. Other boards on the same channel keep their own.
