Does it need to be on the server?

Yes. Noticeboard goes on the server and on every player’s game.

Where are the notes saved?

With the world, in data/noticeboard.dat inside the world folder. Back up the world and you’ve backed up the notes.

Are there limits?

A channel holds up to 100 notes, and a to-do or item list up to 50 lines. A wall shows up to 8 by 8 blocks per rectangular section.

I updated from 1.0.0. Is anything lost?

No. Boards, channels and notes carry over unchanged. Walls start with the Medium text size and show everything, as before.

Was it made with AI?

Yes, and we’re upfront about it. Noticeboard was vibe coded: Claude Code, Anthropic’s AI coding assistant, wrote the code from Taylor’s ideas, testing and feedback.
