    Getting started

Install Noticeboard, craft a board, tune it to a channel and post your first note.

Noticeboard adds display boards you hang on a wall to share notes with everyone in your world: ideas, to-do lists, shopping lists of items, and announcements. Boards glow like a screen, so they’re easy to read from across a room or at night.

It runs on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1, and on Forge and Fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1.

    Installing

    1. Install the mod loader for your Minecraft version.
    2. Get Noticeboard from CurseForge: add it to a profile in the CurseForge app, or download the jar and put it in your mods folder.
    3. On a server, Noticeboard goes on the server and every player’s game.

Jade is optional. With it, looking at a board shows its channel and how many notes it has.

    Your first board

    1. Craft it. Glass panes around black dye on the top two rows, and stick, planks, stick on the bottom row. You get two boards.
    2. Hang it on a wall.
    3. Right-click it and type a channel name, such as base-todo or ideas. A new name creates a channel, and you become its owner. You can also pick a channel that already exists.
    4. Press + Note, + To-do or + Item list, write it, and press Save. It appears on the wall straight away, for everyone.

Every board tuned to the same channel shows the same notes. Put one at spawn and one at your base, and they stay in sync on their own.
