Notes and lists
Write notes, tick off to-dos, gather items, hand them in, and keep a list on your screen while you play.
Right-click a board to see its channel’s notes, and click one to open it.
Kinds of note
- Notes: a title and some text, for ideas, rules or announcements.
- To-do lists: click a line to tick it. Everyone sees who ticked each line.
- Item lists: what you need to gather, and how much. When editing, press + Add items… to search every item
in the game (type
@modname, such as@mekanism, to filter by mod) or pick from your inventory.
Pin keeps a note at the top of the board and the wall. The colour square next to the title, when editing, sets the title’s colour on the wall.
Gathering items
Item lists count how much has been gathered:
- + and - change the count by 1 (Shift: 10, Ctrl+Shift: 64), and the tick fills a line in one click.
- Lines you’re carrying items for say you have N. The down arrow on a line moves those items from your inventory into the list, and Hand in everything I’m carrying does every line at once. Only what the list still needs is taken, and never your armour.
- Handed-in items are kept by the list, not destroyed. Anyone who can edit the note can take them back out with the up arrow. Deleting the note, or removing a line while editing, gives its handed-in items back to whoever did it.
Tracking a list on your screen
Open a to-do or item list and press Track to keep it in the corner of your screen while you play, up to three at once. Unfinished lines come first, and it updates live as anyone ticks things off or hands items in. Press Untrack to remove it.
To show or hide tracked lists with a key, bind Show/hide tracked lists under Options > Controls > Key Binds > Noticeboard. It has no key by default, so it never clashes with other mods.
