Instruments and the stage
Block Band's instrument items and stage blocks. Recipes, playing poses, Band Stage speakers and the Highway Screen for your audience.
Everything here is in the Block Band creative tab, or can be crafted. Every instrument starts from a note block. These items need Block Band on the server.

Instruments
Right-click an instrument to pick a song with it already chosen (in a band, it opens the Band screen).
Hold an instrument while you play and you hold it like the real thing, and everyone around you sees it:
- Guitar, bass and keytar sit across your body with your other hand on the neck, and your strumming hand moves with every note you hit.
- Drumsticks take turns hitting.
- The microphone goes up to your mouth, and your free hand gestures along.
If the right instrument is anywhere in your hotbar when a song starts, it goes into your hand automatically.
Band Stage Speaker
Put a few around the spot where your band plays. Players near a speaker hear the band as if they were on stage (up to about 32 blocks from the band), and the speaker’s cone pulses with a ring of light on every beat.
Highway Screen
A big screen for the audience, or for your stream. Put it on a wall and right-click it to set its size: up to 8 blocks wide and 5 tall, growing to the right and up from the block you placed.
While a band plays nearby (or you play on your own), it shows:
- the song, its progress and the band’s score,
- every player’s name, instrument, score, multiplier and streak,
- each player’s notes coming down their lanes, in time with the music,
- the singer’s lyrics, lighting up as they’re sung,
- a red tint when a player drops out and a blue edge while they’re in overdrive.
Only whoever placed a screen (or an operator) can change its size.
