What it does
Daily Calendar gives players a reason to come back: every day there’s a new door to open, with something behind it. Today’s door glows and knocks; click it and it swings open, the reward pops out with confetti, and a card shows what you got. Milestone doors are bigger, and streak bonuses reward days in a row.
Server owners and pack makers set every reward in simple JSON files: items from any mod, XP, commands, loot tables and mystery gifts, on their own calendars with their own dates and looks. It’s needed on the server and optional for players: without it, they claim from a chest menu.
For players
Press comma, click the clock in your inventory, or type /calendar.
- A door a day, with a door that swings open, confetti and a card showing what you got.
- Gold milestone doors on days 7, 14, 21 and 28, with a bigger reveal and a firework.
- Streak bonuses for 30, 60, 100 and 365 days in a row, with a bar filling towards the next one.
- Six calendars: Daily Rewards all year, plus Valentine’s, an Easter Egg Hunt, Summer, the Spooky Calendar and Advent, each with its own colours and effects.
- A reminder when a door is waiting, as a pop-up or in chat.
- Reduced motion, sounds and reminder settings of your own.
For server owners and pack makers
Everything is set in JSON, in the config folder or a datapack.
- Rewards: items from any mod with enchantments and other components, XP, commands, loot tables and weighted mystery gifts.
- Calendars: streak (reset, skip or pause on a missed day, with grace days), monthly, and dated seasonal ones, even counted from Easter.
- Per-calendar permissions: an op level, scoreboard tags or teams, and a permission node for LuckPerms and the like.
- Admin commands to preview any calendar on any date, test a door, give, reset and see a player’s progress.
- Settings for the time zone, the hour a new day starts, reminders and announcements.
- Can’t be cheated: only the server’s clock counts, and every door is checked on the server.
