About the game
You’ve got $400, a phone on a tripod and the spare room at your parents’ house. Time to make a video. Creator Life Simulator is a cosy, first-person life sim about becoming a content creator: set up your shot, record your takes, cut the boring bits, make a thumbnail that’s just clickbaity enough and hit upload. Then watch the views roll in overnight (or not).
Every platform wants something different. Vidora, Flikk, LiveWire and Chirp reward watch time, a great first second, a lively stream or a good post. Trends rise and fade, and clickbait works until it doesn’t. It all follows rules you can learn. Go live in BroadcastBox and keep up with chat in real time: answer questions, run polls, survive trolls and dropped frames, catch raids and turn the best moments into clips.
Meanwhile there’s a life to live. Eat, sleep and work shifts at Bean There until your channel pays the rent, then hand in your notice. Move from the spare room to a shared flat, an apartment, a house with a studio and finally a creator office. Watch your stress: burnout is real.
Then it becomes a business. Sponsors email you (not all of them above board), drama happens, and you collab with other creators, sell merch and hire an editor, a thumbnail artist, a manager and producers who run channels of their own. Hang your play plaques on the wall and go for a win at the Creator Awards.

Accessibility
- Interface size from 80% to 140%, for all text and panels. On a Steam Deck it starts at 140%.
- Stronger text contrast, for darker grey text everywhere.
- Colour-blind friendly colours. Good, careful and bad show in blue, yellow and vermilion instead of green, amber and red, everywhere.
- Reduce motion, for fewer sliding and zooming animations. Menus fade instead of gliding, and the camera doesn't swoop when you sit down at your PC.
- A Relaxed pace, where needs and stress ease off and rent is lower, for making videos without the pressure.
- Pauses when you switch to another window (on by default).
- Full controller support, with Xbox, PlayStation or Steam Deck button symbols, and an on-screen keyboard for every text box.
- Rebindable keys, mouse and stick sensitivity, inverted mouse look and a field of view from 60° to 100°.
- Separate volumes for effects, the interface, ambience and music.
Not in yet
- A way to slow down or skip the timing in the recording minigame
- A text size setting separate from the interface size

Questions
When is it out, and on what?
It's coming to Steam for Windows, with a native Linux build too. The release date isn't announced yet.
Will it run on Steam Deck?
It's being made for it, aiming for Steam Deck Verified. Everything works with a controller, with Steam Deck button prompts and an on-screen keyboard for every text box. On a Deck it picks its own graphics preset and starts the interface at 140%, so the smallest text is easy to read. It hasn't been tested on a Deck or reviewed by Valve yet.
Are Vidora, Flikk and the rest real?
No. Every platform and brand in the game is a parody, and nobody in it is a real person.
Does it have achievements?
Yes, 59 of them, from your first upload to the Crystal Play Plaque, moving house, quitting your day job and the Creator Awards, with a few secret ones. They unlock on Steam.
Can I play without the pressure?
Yes. Pick the Relaxed pace when you start a new game, or any time in Settings. Needs run down slower, stress builds slower, rent's a quarter lower and being in the red doesn't stress you.
What languages is it in?
English.
