Yarnling is first, with four more in the works.

Hardline Interactive is my game studio. I'm Taylor Gibbs, and I make games on my own in Worcester, England. This site is where they'll live: a page for each game, and this devlog for news as things ship.

First up: Yarnling

Yarnling is a little knitter that lives along the bottom of your screen. Every key you press is a stitch, so its scarf grows across your desktop while you work. Finished pieces earn yarn for hats, glasses, new patterns and bigger projects, and now and then a cat drops by to play with the tassels.

It never records which keys you press, only how many. It's coming to Steam for Windows at £2.49, and the trailer is on its page.

What else is in the works

Knock Twice: Resistance Doorman. Lyon, 1943. You keep the back door of a Resistance cell beneath a family bakery, and decide who comes in.

Creator Life Simulator. From your first upload to running a creator media company.

Dev Studio Simulator. A first-person sim about running a software studio, from a garage to an office full of staff.

Hearthwake. A fantasy roguelike deckbuilder where every run brings home materials to rebuild a burnt-out village.

Each one gets its own page when it's ready to show properly.

Keeping up

New posts land here and in the RSS feed.
